• About Ganeshotsav

Ganeshotsav is celebrated every year during Bhadrapad on shuddha Ganesh Chaturthi. It started in the year 1883 with an objective. Sardar Khasgiwale celebrated this Ganeshotsav for the first time in Gwalior. Famous and honorable citizens Ganpatrao Ghovedakar, Bhau Vaidya and Bhau Rangari installed the Lord Ganesh idol. He began the tradition of taking out procession, Lokmanya Tilak appreciated this and he mentioned it in Kesari on 26th Sept 1893. He made it a public occasion and lent a new image to it. His objective was to create a cohesive unit of people irrespective of caste, creed and class who could commemorate this great festival in the true spirit of it. He was a visionary and new that with the passage of time this festival would assume greater horizons and broader canvas. He brought it out from the confines of home and elevated it to a public occasion. As time marched on this festival became more and more significant and its relevance also increased manifold.

  • King of Trikonbaug

Continuously move towards successful 13th year main attraction largest 2012 of ganpati celebration. Special arrangement for statute followers of lord ganpati with beautiful attraction statute of the lord to worship. Planning and arrangement is made through public and public participation which has become a place for devotes.

Trikonbaug being dome-type temple with full of lights and decorations worth for seeing For puja and darshan there is self discipline by devotee volunteers. Society is benefited by without any charges. Approximately more than 10000 people are visited every day. The event is full of respect towards elders and leaders of society for puja and aarti. Young generation team is working for planning for celebration of ganesh mahaotsav in saurashtra. The first award winner institution at Gujarat state level by ganesh mahaotsav committee of 2010, 2011.

Lokmanya Tilak award for best organizing, planning beautiful ganesh statue and better decoration in Gujarat state. It is an honor to integrate each segment of society of Rajkot and Gujarat largely due to the print – electronic media publicity cooperation.
